Whether you plan to pursue a free birth, a sovereign birth, or a hospital birth, this is prenatal education and birth coaching to best prepare mom for the healthiest outcomes for both mother and baby.
As a three time free birthing mother of four and Obstetrics-trained Family Medicine MD, I know deeply that there exist aspects of the Western Paradigm of birth that carry inherent harm; whether these are intentionally and maliciously driven for profit or nefarious gain, or whether these interventions are harmful in their cookie cutter nature, I am not here to debate… but the increasing maternal and infant death rate is nothing to ignore.
I believe the design, when understood, respected and adequately supported, is SHEER PERFECTION. And what mother’s lack is the knowledge of how she divinely created to birth her own baby.
And, just as an example, I believe that cutting the cord AT ANY DURATION prior to the delivery of the placenta is one of the worst things we do in Western Medicine.
If you have a distrust of the medical system at all, but do not want to completely “go it alone”, allow me to help prepare you for all aspects of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum, with this birth coaching and postpartum support package.
Includes:
3 x one hour trimester check-ins; we discuss any questions regarding birth, ideal nutrition and energetic states for supporting a growing baby and healthy pregnancy, how to navigate the medical system, etc.
1 x (birth or) postpartum call; I would love to promise availability to be in attendance via Zoom during your birth, but alas, I have four children and purposely did not choose the on-call life. That said, if the stars align for me to be present in some kind of coaching capacity during your birth, I will of course do everything I can to make myself available. There exists no greater honor than that kind of invitation to that sacred space in my opinion, and I do not take that lightly. But I am not in a position to offer virtual doula services, and that scenario would just be a sacred happenstance… I can, however, promise a post-birth check-in for mother and baby, which is included with this package.
